Our partners and networks make our
mission possible.
"Taking meaningful action to move us towards sustainability and resilience will require a community-wide effort"
As a small non-profit, we embrace the power of complex networks. We benefit from our connections to state and bioregional networks and coalitions by accessing resources and opportunities, while informing those networks through our direct experience advocating for climate justice in rural Maine and implementing projects on the ground. Inspired by the mycorrhizal fungal networks of our forests, CEBE fosters connection and utilizes cooperative principles. Building sustainable, resilient communities takes long-term thinking, listening, meeting, talking, planning, collaborating, and finally, acting. CEBE is action-oriented, and we know our impact is greater when working together with organizations with similar goals.
Taking meaningful action to move us towards climate justice and resilience requires a community-wide effort. These coalitions help strengthen our work and spread our impact.
